A modest peek at an immodest pageant

How does PNB cover a nude pageant? We "cover" it. Our organization has a policy against showing nudity, but we also have a commitment to bringing our readers news about beauty queens, even if those queens happen to be naked. So we are showing you a nude pageant without the nudity. (Best we can do.)
The Miss Nude Georgia Pageant is held in Atlanta, the city that is famous for its "girlie" nightclubs and unclothed exhibitions. Stories about Atlanta's nude pageants have appeared in newspapers around the world. A highly respectable and critically acclaimed pageant documentary actually featured an uncensored glimpse of an Atlanta nude contest. Somebody must have gotten carried away.

The winner of the Miss Nude Georgia Pageant for 1999 was Tristan Blue. Although her undraped appearance was the primary factor in her victory, she and other contestants also wore costumes for parts of their presentations. Some might say they not only dressed, they overdressed. And they wowed the audience with their dancing ability and stage presence. Many people will find this pageant scandalous. But unless you're Superman, using X-ray vision, you won't see anything "naughty" on this page, and you can't complain about PNB's coverage. If you are Superman, send us your e-mail address.
