"Diamonds are a girl's best friend." -- Anita Loos "All that glitters, I like." -- Queen Leslie

Picture yourself standing in front of two doors. Behind one door is a room filled with jewelry. Behind the other is also a room filled with jewelry. Which door do you open? Which room do you enter? Which treasure do you select? Kristina Primavera is facing just that kind of delicious dilemma. She has a choice ahead of her, and however she chooses, there will be jewelry in her future -- diamonds and rubies, gold and silver, platinum and pearls. In autumn 2003, Ms. Primavera gives up her crown as Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2003. It has been an eventful year. She won the state title on her first try at pageant competition. She competed on national television in Miss Teen USA. She got to travel the length and breadth of Rhode Island. (OK, so it's a very small state.) |

| Now that's she hanging up her sash, she's looking ahead, trying to decide what college she will eventually attend. Maybe one in New England, maybe one in the South, maybe one on the Pacific Coast. Her options are open. And she's trying to decide on a career. That's where the dilemma comes in. Perhaps she will pursue a master's degree in business, then follow in her father's footsteps and become a jewelry executive. Or maybe -- "behind door No. 2" -- she will become a full-time jewelry model. In fact, Ms. Primavera is already modeling jewelry. She is featured in full-page jewelry advertisements in the November 2003 issues of InStyle magazine and Marie Claire magazine. And that's only part of her modeling work. |

| She is being photographed in October for the new cheerleading uniform catalog CranBarry. And she recently modeled in a fashion show for New York designer Nicole Romano, fashion consultant for HBO's "Sex and The City." We don't know what choice you would make. We don't know what choice Ms. Primavera will make. But our advice is to open both doors. |
