Search for EvePhotos by Paul Fong / PNB | |
| Back at the beginning, people didn't wear clothes. (If they got shy, they just hid behind big leaves.) They got all their nourishment from delectable fruit. (Some of it turned out to be too delectable.) We've come a long way from the Garden of Eden, and that's too bad. But now and then we like to look back on that primeval moment when the first woman stepped out of the misty forest. "Whoa, what are you?" Adam asked. |

| We often wonder how that first woman looked. Like the girl next door? The girl on the billboard? The girl in the centerfold? In summer 2003 -- at the appropriately named Eden Condos in Boca Raton, Fla. -- a new Eve was chosen. The occasion was the Search for Eve spokesmodel competition, and the competitors were some of the hottest models and beauty queens around. |

| The winner was Angela Eve Perkins. And yes, she looks as tempting as any woman who ever stepped from behind a tree. But an Eve with three names? Get used to modern times. |
