Even with PNB, even with the hum and the buzz and the gossip, some girls are not getting the pageant action they need. There are contests in the world that these girls would love to be part of, if only they knew about them.

Maybe your mother never told you about DIBBA. Maybe she didn't know. It's based in Yugoslavia, but it's having a huge contest in Greece in August 2002. And it's looking for more girls. It's looking for girls from all over the place.

Maybe you don't know what DIBBA stands for. It stands for the "Dona International Beauty Awards."

Maybe you don't know the director. Her name is Danijela Ilic, and she's a Yugoslav model who has reigned as Miss Hawaiian Tropic Yugoslavia. She wants to make her pageants better every year. And she wants to be "part of PNB," which is the noblest ambition we can imagine.

Maybe you're wondering what to do next. You should e-mail Danijela at donayu@hotmail.com, and you should send a copy to editor@pageant.com. And you should say, "I want to be a DIBBA girl. I want to be part of PNB, too."

Maybe something good will happen. At least you should talk. It's worth a try.
