Drive, she saidPhotos by Joe Whiteko / PNB | ![]()

| There's nothing like a joyride. Jump into a nice car, point it toward the horizon (any horizon will do) and head down the road. If there's a beauty queen in the car, slow down occasionally to let bystanders feast their eyes. Sit up straight and look proud. And wear your sealbelt. But if gas is expensive, forget about driving. Just go check out some pretty cars at an auto show. And if there are pageant girls showing off the cars, slow down and feast your eyes. |

| In a sprawling Southern city, a great metropolitan newspaper recently staged an auto show. There were cars and trucks from far and near. Sleek and shiny, with all the accessories. And that new car smell! Feast your nose. The beauty queens were there. Famous and foxy and friendly -- more stunning in person than they are on television. We even saw a few Amish sneaking in, just to check out the girls. (Wait, that's a joke, but all in good fun. We love the Amish.) |

| Which cars did the beauty queens promote? We can't just come out and tell you. But when you see the photos of these lovelies -- taken by none other than the legendary Joe Whiteko -- and when you read our clues, you can guess. And when you guess the cars, you can guess the city, and the newspaper. And it you're that smart, you will be eligible for a discount on your auto insurance. If PNB ever starts selling auto insurance. |
