| Answers from Ann Marie Everything you need to know about beauty, in detail |
| Questions from you Hi, I have hazel eyes of brown and green. What colors of eye makeup should I use to bring out the green in my eyes. Thank you in advance for your help. |
Hello, Yvonne, The best rule of thumb to use a complimentary color when using eyeshadow on your eyes. Since you have hazel (brown/green) eyes, the best color to use would be shadows in the "red" family. Pinks, purples, and red shades of browns (as opposed to yellow!) would best highlight the green in your eyes. You might even try putting a purple eyeliner over your regular brown or black eyeliner to add a subtle tint that will also brighten the green in your eyes. Remember to experiment!
